BTB Studios is a social enterprise powered by Beyond the Bias, created to give young people meaningful opportunities to learn, create, and earn through hands-on design and production.

Young people work collectively to design and produce customised products for individuals, organisations, and businesses. Every item is made in-house combining creativity, practical skills, and enterprise while directly supporting youth development and community impact

What We Do

At BTB Studios, young people are upskilled in creative design and production using professional tools and materials. This includes working with:

• Vinyl cutting and heat-press equipment

• Acrylic and craft machinery

• Fabric, glass, wood, and mixed materials

Participants learn how to take ideas from concept to finished product, building confidence, technical ability, and an understanding of quality, teamwork, and real-world briefs.

What We Create

BTB Studios produces a range of bespoke, made-to-order items, including:

• Custom clothing and merchandise (t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags)

• Signage and creative displays

• Bookmarks, notebooks, and stationery

Our Shared Values & Collective Model

BTB Studios operates as a collective, youth-centred social enterprise, rooted in fairness, transparency, and shared ownership.

All profits generated are shared across three areas:

• One third is reinvested into programme delivery, supporting staff delivery and training.

• One third covers space, refreshments, and material costs, ensuring the studio runs sustainably.

• One third is allocated directly to the young people, who collectively decide how it is used — from trips, meals and experience that matter to them.

This model ensures young people experience not only skills development, but also agency, responsibility, and reward.
