Young people at Beyond the Bias go beyond daily to look after and care for our world by reinventing everyday objects with recyclable materials, refurbishing old community gardens, talking to the elderly about climate change and learning more about what we can do together to make a difference.
On this world environment day, our young people arranged a massive park clean-up to organise and clear Stepney Green Park for the public. In doing so, they created artwork with the rubbish they collected to illustrate the negative impacts of littering.
Hamzah, aged 12 said “It is important for us to look after our world, climate change is real and projects like this are helping us do something about it”.
